While the BMW X5 has more choices overall in the drivetrain arena, the Q7 pulls ahead with more power and housing more capabilities like 7,700-pound towing abilities.

Infortainment: The Audi virtual cockpit is hard to beat in the way of technology and infotainment with Audi connect and three different display modes to choose from.  The BMW X5 has just started rolling out its models with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, which the Audi Q7 has been for a few rollouts. Safety: The Audi Pre Sense Front comes standard in all Audi Q7 models with forward collision mitigation. Side Assist and Exit Assist aid in blind-spot monitoring and alerting you to approaching pedestrians or cyclists as you exit the vehicle. The 2024 BMW X5 houses basic driver assistance features, but more aggressive safety features must be added.
